The Quality System of European Scientific and Technical Education-Labellisation and scoringConcept and Objectives :Cooperation is a key element, a catalyst in the triangle of Universities, Industry, and Knowledge. Industry is at a key-point regarding environmental issues and sustainable development within the EU and Russia. In Business Education, EFMD-The Management Education Network- has developed a strong quality system for improving the quality of cooperation between Business education and economy; EQUIS is a label of excellence shared by a few Business schools in Europe and the world. EFMD has a strong commitment on ethical questions: the education of leaders for companies by excellent institutions devotes significant attention to ethical issues. Researchers and professors in the field of economics have become familiar with the new referentials. In science-technology-engineering education, there have been efforts to assure Quality –mainly at a basic level within the Bologna context. As an example, ENQHEEI has acted on the December 2000 recommendation of the European Council of Ministers of Industry (art.15) to develop tools for cooperation between S&T higher education and industry. A Quality Charter has been adopted among Universities and Stakeholders and, since 2006, the QUESTE Quality System has been implemented in a number of European S&T Universities. In Research, some major Universities and Research institutions – e.g., the German Excellenzinitiativ and French Pôles de Compétitivité -are working to improve the careers of their students in Research, a project that is complementary to the EUA .
